Alright, I know I'm not the only one to notice it. Brian runs top 5 most of the day, finishes 5th after a solid run....... *silence*. No interview after the race?
Well, to me thats unacceptable. Now, I would have let it go. However, they interviewed 13th place finisher Dale Earnhardt Jr. That time could have been used for a driver and team that had a much better run, and quite honestly, needs the air time a lot more. Yes, I see that people just love Dale Jr, but we love Brian, and he deserves to be commended for that effort. I give the announcers thier props for standing up for him today when Jeff was questioning him, but regardless, the post-race was unacceptable to me. These things are precisely what I made the site for, to get incidents like that to stop happening. Let's do something.
sports@msnbc.com
E-mail them and let them know what's up. Once again, I urge you to be polite and mature, and just voice your opinion. PM me what you e-mail to them, I'm awarding 30 points for this. Why so many? Because this is exactly why I created the site, its rude and unnacceptable. He deserves much better for that effort. Sure, it may not even matter to these NBC execs, but I feel better having it said.
Other sugegstions that will get you some bonus points:
-Posting about it on NASCAR.com, in wherever you see fit, Last Lap, We Wonder, anything that you think will get it noticed.
-Calling in to Wind Tunnel.
-anything of that nature.
PM me anything extra such as that that you do, and I will give you some bonus points. Trust me, it's worth it, I'm ready to hand out tons for this because it truely needs to be done.
